Elections, Wrongs and Rights

I imagine the US Election to have held a mirror up to an entire Nation, if not to an entire world. But a reflection takes steadfastness to recognize, and courage to admit.

Our own capacity for it all.

And I’m left wondering who of us would sit patiently enough with another across the battlefield of opposite opinion, and still acknowledge the existence of the field brought to notice by the poet Rumi. The famed field beyond the idea of wrongdoing and rightdoing.

It would seem that this is where fractures might heal.

Perhaps later in the week, we should meet there.
