Purpose is the business of the inner world, yet so many set about the challenge of recognizing, defining and articulating it from the intellect, and an examination of what they believe the world to need. This does not work. And causes profound problems that have no chance of resolving themselves. Businesses go out of business. These businesses are disconnected from purpose.
In Amsterdam on 26 April I shall be working with business owners for a full day immersed in the examination and resolution of all of this from the vantage point of the inner world. The actually inner world, using the Soul Biographies Inner View camera. So that we might all come to know what true purpose in business is, and how to share it with the world.

Video shot for websites in explanation of an organization’s work in the world is most often so obvious. So obviously selling you on an idea, if not something more concrete. So obviously disconnected.
When one understands the mechanics of authenticity on film, one can set out to bring life to important work without letting oneself down. Without the disability of in-congruence.
I’m in Germany next week doing just this. Defining the arc of an organization’s work and what message will help its true understanding. Then filming over the week for just that, amongst the under current of human presence. It is an art worth knowing. It will bring in the audience that previously couldn’t see, couldn’t connect, on account of the confines of so many inadequate words.
This will be a full and glorious week of immersion, connected people and creativity in film. A true exploration and discovery in service to a grand purpose.

It’s easy for us to deem significant work as that involved in the actions that contribute to the alleviation of suffering, or to the obvious development of the human lot. To ‘saving the world’.
But in holding to such a view we might miss the significance of an extraordinary workplace …
