I’m in a suburb. Perfectly symmetrical, perfectly safe.

And I know what to expect.

But I notice the subtle feeling of something missing.

Then I’m taken to the memory of an ancient town built with little sense of
modern practicality but built with art and life in its soul.

And I remember how it felt.

What if where I stand in the world holds the capacity to make me feel.
To feel alive, or to feel dead. Or somewhere dangerously in between.

And what if who I stand with in the world holds that same very same capacity.
