MY EO WOMEN – 2022 SUMMIT IN BARCELONA – FOLLOW UP
A NOTE FROM BARCELONA
Dear All, it was a pleasure to meet you in Barcelona. I felt unconditionally included in this extraordinary gathering. I would love to have spent more time with each of you exploring the possibilities of life in business.
I’ve emailed each of you with your photographic portrait.
The following might be helpful in regard to experiencing yourself. Recently on assignment within an organization I took a set of such photographic portraits alongside the experience of live film and ended up writing a set of simple guidelines as to how one might experience such photographs and by implication any living person one might happen to be with. Although it’s composed from the perspective of seeing another’s portrait, it should prove useful for one’s own.
It’s in the form of a 4-Minute Portrait Video. Do PLAY FULL SCREEN. Perhaps even use headphones. I am happy to email you the MP3 and Words if that might be easier.
It is indicative of the other-way-around I was speaking of. The whereabouts of an intuitive intelligence, language that suits purpose, and profound human connection.
FURTHER BELOW IS THE FILM WE SAW, A FEW OF THE PORTRAITS TAKEN AND WORDS SPOKEN OUT LOUD
If such a thing seems appropriate, I’d love to bring the film experience and exploration of the potential of connected humanity + business to your Forum, Chapter or Region. Or perhaps even to your organization itself. Do MESSAGE me for details. I’m currently drawing up a PDF up for an EO Learning Chair and would be happy to send it to you.
You are welcome to use your portrait as you will. With attribution.

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE NEAR 60 PORTRAITS TAKEN. I’D LIKE TO INCLUDE MORE IN A PIECE OF FILMIC ‘EO ART’
A FEW OF THE WORDS SPOKEN OUT LOUD IN BARCELONA
The Entrance Hall
I’m in an entrance hall.
And I look towards the furthest doorway.
I see her.
She looks up. And immediately casts her eyes downwards.
She assumes that I can see her.
I can.
But what she believes I can see, she is ashamed of.
She doesn’t wish for it to be seen.
By anyone.
She’s spent a life time holding up a facade.
A cumbrous lie. Forever against the weight of gravity.
But what I see is not that.
And if she could see what I see, I imagine that her life would be so very different.
I wish that for her.
I wish she would look up.
Undivided and So Still Attention
Before your words
of encouragement
and well-timed advice.
Before items gifted at
beyond an arm’s length.
Did you ever consider
the one thing that
might turn the
entire world
on its axis.
Your undivided
and so still attention.
NOTE: I HAVE A FILM SERIES COMING OUT SOON ON FORUM MINDSET
Fragile
We are fragile. You and me.
Though we act strong,
our lives are
held together with
thoughts of where
we might be tomorrow.
And of disappointed
yesterdays.
At any moment we might shatter.
We might fall to our knees
weighed down by the terror
of being so far from
our own control.
Dare we look up, we’d not know
where to go or what to do.
We are fragile. You and me.
If we were to turn to each other,
we might see the whole world
on their knees.
Hurting, and seemingly
alone.
But none of us are.
We are fragile together.
THIS IS THE FILM PLAYED IN BARCELONA. THERE ARE MANY FURTHER SOUL BIOGRAPHIES IN THE LIBRARY
