WHAT IS INNER VIEW

THE ANTITHETICAL PRINCIPLE

Its radically simple and antithetical way starts with no-thing, recognizing that we largely experience each other through our minds, and thus our experience of another is our current conclusion of them. Inner View recognizes that witnessing is not actually an act on our part. And that we have an inculturated habit of the opposite.

It all hinges on our ability to know the nature of no-thing. The letting go of all acts, conscious and unconscious. This is the key focus of the education of what will become an underlying skill. A skill with which to affect the way we are with all others. Amplifying our capacity to contribute to the lives of those around us, professionally and in life per se.

FROM A CAMERA METHOD

It was taught for many years ostensibly as a Camera Method, a uniquely profound approach to interview. Interview + Surrender. Un-directed stream of consciousness. It became a valuable way of eliciting authenticity and truth on film but it was never truly just about the camera. The camera was the way it was at first noticed and then developed. But this use of an innate mindful presence has a far wider implication to the witnessing experience between people.

The camera remains important in its experiential education, and in relevant situations where capture is of obvious benefit (e.g. storytelling, coaching, therapy).
